Repeat Prescriptions
Your doctor may issue you with a prescription for medication which you can take to any pharmacy or may be sent to any pharmacy electronically - you need to advise the surgery of your 'nominated pharmacy'. Please speak to Reception or send an email.
If you have repeat medications, these will be listed on the form attached to your current prescription. There is a letter box for completed repeat prescription requests at the surgery or you can order on-line via the link at the top of this page (click here for information about registering for online services)
We do advise that you allow at least 5 full working days between submitting your request for more medication and collecting it due to us receiving very high volumes of prescription requests and queries every day. It's also worth checking if your prescription is ready before coming in.
Prescriptions requests that are made electronically and sent electronically to a nominated pharmacy will be processed quicker- due to the nature of the processes involved.
PLEASE NOTE - Online services can only be accessed from within the UK.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
