Update

Housebound Patients

If you're a patient of Park Surgery and you're housebound we have some information about how you'll be able to receive your flu and COVID-19 vaccinations this year.

Flu Vaccination

Park surgery will be organising your flu vaccination. We'll be in touch with you shortly to inform you of upcoming dates. There is no need to call the surgery unless you are newly housebound or you're unsure if we have you on our housebound register.

COVID-19 Vaccination

The 'Housebound Vaccination Team' will be organising the COVID-19 vaccination this year. That means that Park surgery are not able to assist you in booking your jab. Only contact the surgery if you're unsure if we have you on our housebound register.

The Housebound Vaccination Team will be in touch with those on our register to organise a visit.

Should i be registered Housebound?

For further clarification, please see a definition below:

'A patient is housebound if they are unable to leave their home at all, or if they require significant assistance to leave their home due to illness, frailty, surgery, disability or mental health.

A patient is not considered housebound if they can, with minimal assistance, leave their home to attend the surgery, hospital, supermarkets, or social appointments.'
